[5]à Upon the formation, SkyTeam, would offer its customers a total of 6402 daily flights to 451 destinations, in 98 countries. In September 2000, the alliance established a cargo alliance,à SkyTeam Cargoâ⠢, as it focuses more on cargo operations.5]à The group's inaugural members are Aeromexpress, Air France Cargo, Delta Air Logistics and Korean Air Cargo. The following month, the newly-established airline alliance announced its intentions to grantà CSA Czech Airlinesà membership. [5] The year 2001 saw the joining ofà CSA Czech Airlinesà on 25 March[5]à andà Alitaliaà on 27 July. [6]à On 30 September, the alliance received KLM's application for membership,[7]à following the airline's plans to create a leading airline group with Air France. 7]à In 2003,à Delta's subsidiaryà Delta Expressà was replaced byà Song. That same year, SkyTeam also launched an i mproved website, focused on providing passengers with more information, increased interactivity, and other resources. [8] [edit]Biggest expansion Aà Czech Airlinesà ATR 42à (OK-JFL). The airline was the first recruit following the alliance's formation On 24 May 2004,à Aeroflot, theà flag carrierà and principal airline of Russia, signed aà Memorandum of Understandingà (MoU) with SkyTeam as it intends to become a full member. The event took place inKremlin, following the airline's application earlier in the year for membership. [9][10]à SkyTeam says that Aeroflot has not met the consortium's standards, but the airline's large hub networks makes it ideal for the alliance. [11] On 28 August,à China Southern Airlines, the largest carrier in theà People's Republic of China, signed a preliminary agreement inà Guangzhou, in its bid to become a full member. 12]à In the presence of a number of Chinese and airline officials, Yan Zhiqing, Chairman of China Southern, sai d, ââ¬Å"This agreement-signing event is an important step forward into the future for China Southern Airlines to adapt itself to the need of further reforms and opening to the international community, as it will strengthen the airline's international cooperation and global competitiveness. â⬠On 13 September,à Continental Airlines,à KLMà andà Northwest Airlinesà joined the alliance. [13][14]à Their simultaneous entry was the largest expansion event in airline alliance history. As a result of the three new members, SkyTeam passedà Oneworldà to become the second largest alliance, serving more than 341à millionà customers with 14,320 daily flights to 658 destinations in 130 countries. [13] [edit]2005ââ¬â2006 Even though member CSA Czech Airlines pledged to helpà Malev Hungarian Airlinesà become an associate member of the alliance (as opposed to a full member, an associate has no voting rights), Malev Hungarian Airlines opted to join theà Oneworldà alliance, signing a Memorandum Of Understanding late in May.A few days later SkyTeam announced four new associate members due to join by 2006, each one being ââ¬Å"sponsoredâ⬠by an existing member:à Madrid-basedà Air Europaà (sponsored byà Air France),à Panama-basedà Copa Airlinesà (sponsored and partly owned byà Continental Airlines),à Kenya Airways(sponsored and partly owned byà KLM) andà Romania'sà TAROMà (sponsored byà Alitalia). Every associate adopted aà frequent flyer programà of a full member:à Copa Airlinesà already usedà Continental'sà OnePassà whileà Kenya Airwaysà andà Air Europausedà Air France-KLM'sà Flying Blue.An Alitalia (the one which succeeds Alitalia-Linee Aeree Italiane) Boeing 767-300ER, registered as EI-DBP, is seen here in SkyTeamà livery. (2010) Aeroflotà joined on 14 April 2006 following a 24-month joining process since May 2004, the first Russian airline to be associated with an airline allianc e. [15][16]à Aeroflot has increased its operational standards, passingà International Air Transport Association's (IATA)à Operational Safety Audità (IOSA). Delta's subsidiaryà Songà continued to operate asà Delta Air Lines. In June, it was announced thatPortugaliaà would become the alliance's next associate member candidate, however, in November, rival airline (and Star Alliance member)à TAP Portugal, purchased 99. 81% of the airline, bringing an end to its candidacy. [17] [edit]2007 expansion On 4 September 2007,à Air Europa,à Copa Airlines,à Kenya Airwaysà became members of SkyTeam's Associate program, which was launched to serve airlines in strategic regions who are intending to become affiliated with the alliance. 18][19]à China Southern Airlinesà joined SkyTeam on 15 November to become the 11th full member and the first carrier fromà Mainland Chinaà to join SkyTeam. [20]Aeromexico's subsidiaryà Aerolitoralà becameà Aeromexico Connect. [edi t]2008ââ¬â2009: Departure of airlines and new initiatives Anà Air Franceà Boeing 777-300ER(F-GZNE)à in the special SkyTeam livery, which was unveiled in 2009 Continental Airlinesà andà Copa Airlinesà announced their intentions to move to theà Star Allianceà after Continental's final flight with SkyTeam on 24 October 2009. Alitalia-Linee Aeree Italianeà re-launched operations as the newà Alitalia. In 2009, the alliance announced initiatives towards a centralised management system, based inà Amsterdam. [21]à The consortium also named a new managing director and a timeline outlining the opening of its co-located facilities atà London Heathrow Airport. A new special livery was also unveiled. [21]à On 24 October,à Continental Airlinesà andà Copa Airlinesà simultaneously left SkyTeam,[22]à after which Continental Airlines would joinà Star Allianceà on 27 October. [23]à At the time, it was rumoured that the switch is Continental's initial move in its plan of a United-Continental merge. [24] [edit]10th anniversaryTo start off 2010,à Northwest Airlinesà andà Delta Air Lines's operating certificates were officially combined on 1 January, while on 9 March,à China Southern Airlinesà announced its plans to joinà SkyTeam Cargo. [25]à With membership expected to be granted in November, the airline will be the first Chinese carrier to join a global air cargo alliance. On 16 April,à China Eastern Airlinesà announced its intentions to join the alliance, with the official joining ceremony expected to take place mid-2011. [26]à The announcement came after the airline's merge withà Shanghai Airlines, a member of SkyTeam's rival Star Alliance. On 10 June,à Vietnam Airlinesà became a full member following a joining ceremony held inà Hanoi. [27]à The airline, therefore, became the first SkyTeam carrier from Southeast Asia, whereà Star Allianceà has a strong presence throughà Singapore Airlines. With an extra 20 unique destinations added to SkyTeam's route map, Vietnam Airlines helps strengthen the alliance's foothold in the region. [27] On 22 June, theà CEOsà andà Chairmenà of the 13 member airlines gathered in New York to celebrate the alliance's 10thà anniversary.During its first decade of operation, the world's second largest airline alliance more than tripled its membership, doubled it flights and nearly doubled the alliance's destinations. [28]à On the same day, SkyTeam announced that it had renewed its membership program, thereby upgradingà Air Europaà andà Kenya Airwaysà membership status from associate members to full members,[29][30]à and making TAROM a future full member of the alliance. During the ceremony, the Board outlined its plans to recruit members fromà Latin America,à South Americaà andà India. [28]à Three days later, TAROM officially became a member of SkyTeam. 31]à As part of the celebration, SkyTeam offered reductions of roun d-the-world fares[32]à and other promotions. Following the 10thanniversary, SkyTeam intends to enhance customers' travel experience and deepen co-operation among its members to supplement the expansion into regions that are yet to have SkyTeam members. [33] ââ¬Å"| In South America, India and Africa, it is clear there will be a significant battle for positioning to lure good carriers in your alliance. | â⬠| ââ¬âLeo van Wijk, Chairman during a 10th anniversary event of SkyTeam[34]| During the year, Delta Air Lines offeredà US$1. 2 billion toà Japan Airlinesà after theà Asianà airline filed forà bankruptcyà due to US$26 billion debt,[35]à at the same time lobbyingà Oneworld's largest member in Asia to switch to SkyTeam. [36]à Delta, along withà American Airlines, wanted Japan Airlines to be in their respective alliances to benefit from the U. S. ââ¬âJapanà Open Skies agreement. Eventually, Japan Airlines opted to remain at Oneworld, citing that the transfer to SkyTeam would confuse its passengers, and may not gain anti-trust immunity from U. S. regulators. [37] China Airlines will join SkyTeam as a full member in 2011.On 14 September, in space of 5 months, SkyTeam received its second application for full membership. China Airlines, the flag carrier and largest carrier ofà Republic of China, announced that it has formally started the joining process. [38]à Upon joining, the airline's route network will supplement those ofà China Southern Airlinesà andà China Eastern Airlines, allowing cooperation among the three airlines, as well as strengthening SkyTeam's presence not only in both theà People's Republic of Chinaà and the Republic of China, but throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The following month, October,à Aerolineas Argentinasà would sign an agreement to officially start the process of becoming the firstà South Americanà SkyTeam member. The airline is set to join in 2012. [39][40][41] On 1 November ,à Shanghai Airlinesà switched fromà Star Allianceà to SkyTeam under its parent company, future SkyTeam member, China Eastern Airlines. [42]à This bolstered SkyTeam's presence in the People's Republic of China and surrounding areas, making the SkyTeam the number 1 alliance in the region. 43]à Garuda Indonesia, the flag carrier of Indonesia, formally started its joining process on 23 November, and is scheduled to be integrated by 2012. [44]à Upon joining, the airline will become the second Southeast Asian airline to join SkyTeam, therefore challengingà Star Alliance's dominance in the region throughà Thai Airways Internationalà andà Singapore Airlines. ââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬â- [edit]Member airlines [edit]Full members and their member & non-member affiliates Member airline| Country| Joined| Member affiliates| Non-member affiliates| Aeroflot| à Russia| 20 06| à Donavia Nordavia| à Rossiya|Aeromexico[A]| à Mexico| 2000| à Aeromexico Connect Aeromexico Travel| ââ¬â| Air Europa| à Spain| 2007| ââ¬â| ââ¬â| Air France[A][B]| à France| 2000| à Brit Air CityJet Regional| à transavia. com Franceà (60%)| Alitalia| à Italy| 2008| à Alitalia Express Air One CityLiner| à Air One Smart Carrier| China Southern Airlines| à China| 2007| ââ¬â| à Chongqing Airlines à Xiamen Airlines| Czech Airlines| à Czech Republic| 2001| ââ¬â| ââ¬â| Delta Air Lines[A]| à United States| 2000| à Delta Connection à Delta Shuttle| à Delta AirElite| Kenya Airways| à Kenya| 2007| ââ¬â| ââ¬â| KLM[B]| à Netherlands| 2004| à KLM Cityhopper| à Martinair à transavia. com transavia. com Franceà (40%) transavia. om Denmarkà (until April 2011)| Korean Air[A]| à South Korea| 2000| ââ¬â| à Jin Air| TAROM| à Romania| 2010| ââ¬â| ââ¬â| Vietnam Airlines| à Vietnam| 2010| ââ¬â| à Cambodia Angkor Air à Vietnam Air Service Company (VASCO)| Aà Founding member[45] Bà Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines are part of the airline holding companyà Air France-KLM[46] [edit]Former members Former member airline| Country| Joined| Exited| Member affiliates| Alitalia-Linee Aeree Italiane[A]| à Italy| 2001| 2008| à Alitalia Express à Volare Airlines| Continental Airlines[B]| à United States| 2004| 2009| Continental Connectionà operated by: >à à Cape Air >à à Colgan Air >à à CommutAir à à Gulfstream International Airlines Continental Expressà operated by: >à à Chautauqua Airlines >à à ExpressJet Airlines Continental Micronesia| Northwest Airlines[C]| à United States| 2004| 2009| à Northwest Airlink| Aà Alitaliaà re-launched operations inà 2008 Bà Left the alliance to joinà Star Allianceà withà United Airlines Cà Northwest Airlines' operating certificate was combined with Delta Air Lines'. Alliances also form betweenà cargo airlines, such as that ofWOW Alliance,à SkyTeam Cargoà andà ANA/UPS Alliance. Alliances provide a network of connectivity and convenience for international passengers and international packages. Many alliances started as only a code sharing network. * Cost reduction from sharing of: * Sales offices * Maintenance facilities * Operational facilities, e. g. catering or computer systems. * Operational staff, e. g. ground handling personnel, at check-in and boarding desks. * Investments and purchases, e. g. in order to negotiate extra volume discounts. * Traveler benefits can include: Lower prices due to lowered operational costs for a given route. * More departure times to choose from on a given route. * More destinations within easy reach. * Shorter travel times as a result of optimised transfers. * A wider range ofà airport loungesà shared with alliance members * Faster mileage rewards by earning miles for a single account on several different carriers. * Round-the-world tickets, enabling travelers to fly over the world for a relatively low price. Airline alliances may also create disadvantages for the traveler, such as: * Higher prices when all competition is erased on a certain route. Less frequent flights: for instance, if two airlines separately fly three and two times a day respectively on a shared route, their alliance might fly less than 5(3+2) times a day on the same route. This might be especially true between hub cities for each airline. e. g. , flights between Detroit (a Delta Air Linesà fortress hub) and Amsterdam (a KLM fortress hub). ââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬â- [edit]Issues The ability of an airline to join an alliance is often restricted by laws and regulations or subject to approval by authorities. Antitrustà laws play a large role.Land ing rights may not be owned by the airlines themselves but by the nation in which their head office resides. If an airline loses its national identity by merging to a large extent with a foreign company, existing agreements may be declared void by a country which objects to the merger. In 2010 Swiss lost overflight rights after being bought by Lufthansaà [1]. ââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬âââ¬â- [edit]History The first airline alliance started in the 1930s, whenà Pan American-Grace Airwaysà and parent companyà Pan American World Airwaysà agreed to exchange routes toà Latin America. The first large alliance started in 1989, when Northwest and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines agreed to code sharing on a large scale. A huge step was taken in 1992 when The Netherlands signed the firstà open skiesà agreement with the United States, in spite of objections from theà European Unionà autho rities. This gave both countries unrestricted landing rights on each others' soil. Normally landing rights are granted for a fixed number of flights per week to a fixed destination. Each adjustment takes negotiating, often between governments rather than between the companies involved.

Julius Caesar A Great Leader - 1718 Words
As I awoke to the morning sun, the children of Gaul, Rome were getting ready and heading off to school. I have found a book on my way to church that someone had started to write down what was going on in our town. Iââ¬â¢ve decided to take over the role of this journal. One may call me a friend, a father, and a brother. Today we embark on a journey in my village where Julius Caesar is fighting to take over Gaul and also to be king. Caesar had spent his days campaigning in Rome, he had all the credentials to be king the only thing that was missing was the actual title of being named king. Caesar was not able to attack Italy because Pompey had a fleet and Caesar did not so he decided to go after Spain instead. The days have gone by and Caesar has not returned, the people of our village are starting to wonder what happened to our leader. Much time has now passed and Caesar has returned! The people and myself are excited to have our leader is back! We have found out that he was successful in Spain, he later had gone to Macedonia, but he could not defeat Pompey at Dyrrhachium. Caesar made a quick decision to go into central Greece and then he finally defeated Pompey! Pompey tried to pursue Caesar at the Battle of Pharsalus, but our great Caesar came out victorious! I am so proud of my leader! As I watched the days go by and see my people wandering the village, I see a sense of calm over them now that we have gained more land. A democratic or laissez-faire leadership approach would not work for this company. A consensus-building approach can be disastrous in times of crisis, when urgent events demand quick decisions and quick responses. The Red Cross spends a great deal of time operating in crisis mode implementing an immediate course of action. Jesus For As Long As I - 1556 Words
I grew up in Taranaki and Wanganui, and I have known Jesus for as long as I can remember. At the age of 7, on Sunday the 3rd of September 2003, I gave my heart to God, and became a Junior Soldier of The Salvation Army Wanganui City Corps. Throughout my childhood I saw the hand of God in many places. My Mum and Dad and been hospitalised a number of times while we were growing up for number of reasons, and yet both Mum and Dad were strong in their faith. As a family we attended the Wanganui City Corps until early 2001, when Mum and Dad decided to leave the Army, and we moved to the Hosanna Christian Centre. Hosanna Christian Centre was a Pentecostal charismatic church. During our time at this Church, I was baptised, and had also had an encounter with the Holy Spirit. The encounter seems a long time ago, but every week I remembered praying to God, and asking him to help me ââ¬Å"lead a life that is clean in thought word and deed.â⬠As I did this, my behaviour at school changed dra matically. Verse 50 highlights her and Josephââ¬â¢s confusion to Jesusââ¬â¢ response. While this may highlight the issue of confusion caused by many people when considering that Jesus was both fully God and fully man, there is another aspect in Maryââ¬â¢s actions that I believe the author was trying to emphasize. In this passage, Mary could be seen as a pupil of Jesus because of the way she learns from his actions. The Obsession Neurosis Free Essays
According to Paul Ricoeurââ¬â¢s point of view in the idea of theology and religion, there seems to be no exact definition on the context of universality.à The irony follows in the context of the variation of the extent of Naming God and believing in God.à It is evident that the world of today is liberal and is open in the idea of religion and in beliefs, hence, it connotes that for some, the existence of God is still not establishedââ¬âalthough several followers tend to call for his name. We will write a custom essay sample on The Obsession Neurosis or any similar topic only for you Order Now à The valuable conviction of Paul Ricoeur, one which is far admirably different from theology experts, offers a whole new dimension of deliberation and discussion on how individuals name Godââ¬âphilosopher to philosopher, and idea and perception for such delight. God, leader, saviourââ¬âall of which are used in ââ¬Å"callingâ⬠God and uttering such name for whatsoever it may serve a person.à However, the shallow connotation stressed by the author is blatantly seen in the arena of ââ¬Å"conviction.â⬠Ricoeurââ¬â¢s belief is mostly philosophical and thoroughly surfaces in the justification of External Reality.à Religion plays an important role in every manââ¬â¢s life. Its impact is manifested on every person daily affairs and his or her behavior. Hundreds of literatures that explicitly tackle religion have already been written. While the list may be inexhaustible, the Metamorphoses, Aeneid, Inferno and Odyssey serve as some of the popular literary works where a religious strand can be looked into. The fact that the Metamorphoses by Ovid composed of mythological stories printed in the form of poetry gives one the first impression that divine beings are already incorporated into the book and that, consequently, the ââ¬Å"mythâ⬠in these literary piece may have something to do with religion. True enough, the various sections found within the book have a common subjectââ¬â the power of a divine entity and how such power determines the fate of men. Most of the transformations that happen in the stories are of people being ââ¬Å"punishedâ⬠for ââ¬Å"the sinsâ⬠they have committed (Ovid, p. 171). This punishment of sins can be taken to mean as one way of reflecting justice in the sense that the action of man is essentially incorporated with a corresponding responsibility and that Godââ¬âor religionââ¬âhas a corresponding role in the provision of these sanctions.à Moreover, the author does not only fall in the line of rhetoric canonization against his own conviction, rather on the spiritual and doxological context of the question.à What are you, then, my God? . . . most high, excellent, most powerful, omnipotent, supremely merciful and supremely just, most hidden yet intimately present, infinitely beautiful and infinitely strong.[1] In this certain line, however, there seems to be another standpoint in the idea of Naming God.à à In essence, such strengthens the point raised on the earlier part and undeniably gives further analysis and interpretation that there exists a difference in Naming God; although there has been no evidence of the ââ¬Å"powerâ⬠which individuals apparently call as God. The author often used a Freudian philosophy in substantiating his arguments.à He stresses that Freud believes that religion has played a great part in the making of society, of humankind. In his writings before, he regards religion as an illusion, which is clearly equivalent to atheism. He then realizes that the idea of God and the religious teachings are some of human beingââ¬â¢s strangest thoughts. Freudââ¬â¢s argument about religion is that, it is and output of what he called the Oedipus complex, or the sexual desire of the son to the mother (Ricoeur, 1995). In his argument, he states that the child competes against the father, who also has strong libidinal desires towards the mother. Because of this interference by the father, the child is prohibited to express his sexual interests in towards his mother. The father figure represents divergence and hindrance for the child. If we look at it in another angle, this hindrance creates a limit for the mothersââ¬â¢ happiness, thus creating the reality principle. This leads to reason thus, this reason is the one responsible for regulating desire. This became the basis of the father figure connection, in which the Western religions glorify the submission to the father, thus creating the image of a Father-God (Ricoeur, 1995). This has been a basis of civilization, wherein they are accepting the principle of reality and the acceptance of restraints and prohibitions by an ââ¬Å"authority.â⬠This is the main principle in how they were able to connect human desires with the law. Further, according to Freud, as stresses in the book, neurosis is an individual religion, and religion is a universal obsession neurosis. Freud implies that religion is the suppression, the renunciation of certain instinctual impulses, which are not limited components of the sexual desire or instinct; they seek for themselves and are really socially harmful instincts, regardless of the sexual component.à The subject of illusion is another critical part of Freudââ¬â¢s say of that of religion. But we must always consider that illusion is different from delusion. Illusion is much more of the religious beliefs type. Included in illusions is the concept of religion. Accordingly, it doesnââ¬â¢t mean that it is not true, or has no validity, where in fact these things maybe true. But, what Freud questions is the source of these beliefs. The undisciplined and uncritical human wishes. By focusing on the relationship between the individuals and God in the Metamorphoses, one can immediately draw the idea that religion is the binding force between the two, bridging the invisibleââ¬âand perhaps inconceivableââ¬âdistance that separates the mortal from the immortal. à Consequently, the manner of Naming God depends alone on the beliefs equipped in the individualââ¬â¢s character and personality, per se. Guide To Computer Forensics Investigations -Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About The Guide To Computer Forensics Investigations? Answer: Introduction Cybercrimes are basically computer oriented crimes that involve the use of computers and networks, where such computer or network is used for committing offences or such network or computer is the target. These types of crimes are increasing day by day with the advancement of technology and therefore, in order to protect from such crimes, various legislations have also been enacted as well (Brown, 2015). But unfortunately, these legislations have various loopholes and for such reasons computer forensic investigation methods play an important role in providing protection against various cyber crimes. Computer forensic investigation methods Computer forensic investigation methods are methods, which are used for the purpose of investigating into the crimes which are computer oriented. They involve examination of digital media in a forensically sound manner, with the aim to identify, preserve, recover and present facts and opinions about such digital information (Nelson, Phillips Steuart, 2014). Computer investigation methods can be divided into two types. They are: E-Discovery- Incident Responses and Forensics The incident responses and forensics method aims particularly at the cases relating to security breaches and hacks in companies. This method makes it mandatory for organizations to have an incident response plan that includes the detection of the incident in addition to a response. It aims for an effective security strategy, which can respond effectively to unexpected and inevitable contingencies. This method mandates organizations for making a fast response team for handling security incidents. The team becomes responsible for monitoring, handling incidents and reporting during a security breach or attack (Luttgens, Pepe Mandia, 2014). The formation of a response team helps in responding to the situation immediately by classifying and prioritizing such issues and assigning the incident accordingly, which results in a bad or good decision that directly impacts the resolution to the problem. During forensic analysis, various things must be considered like systems having external influences, must be separate for avoiding further damage, or as a means of preserving evidence. This method involves the forensic analyst to work with the incident response team for making better decisions. The decisions must be made in accordance with the existing policies and it is to note that these teams have knowledge about the actual impact of the problem and are aware of the risk of reproducing certain actions on the system (Ab Rahman Choo, 2015). These procedures must be clear and form a part of the emergency plan. Relevance to Sony Pictures Hack, 2014 The Sony Pictures hack, 2014 case was a popular case of computer security breach, where North Korean Government, hacked into Sonys system and used its data and blackmailed it for not releasing a film called The Interview, involved the assassination of the North Korean leader. It took a lot of time to find out the North Korean governments involvement in the case and also caused sufficient leakage of Sonys data, causing damage. The presence of incident response plan and team along with forensic analysts in the case, would have helped Sony to minimize the damage caused and resolve the problem in a much faster way. Therefore, Sony should use the Incident Responses and Forensics for preventing such further security breaches in future. References: Ab Rahman, N. H., Choo, K. K. R. (2015).
